Dan is going to die. Soon. Not wishing to burden his wife with his care he checks himself into hospice care to receive his pain medication and to presumably die. There, he meets Robyn, a Jamaican woman also dying of cancer. They conspire to make their spouses fall in love with each other to lessen the impact of their death. Things go awry when they themselves fall in love and one of them begins to feel better.
