Description
Arthur, the owner of a small donut shop that's located in a quickly gentrifying Chicago neighborhood, and Franco, the enterprising employee who's determined to bring his shop into the 21st century. In its second season, Franco decides to follow his dream and apply to art school while continuing to work at the shop, an estranged family member re-enters Arthur's life, and Randy her career choice as a cop.

Arthur is a gruff, to-the-point Chicagoan who refuses to sell newfangled cronuts and macchiatos or renovate his dated shop that hasn't changed since it opened in 1969. That all changes when enterprising go-getter Franco fast-talks his way into Arthur's life as his new, and only, employee, and convinces him that he can bring the shop and Arthur into the 21st century.

The film centers around a group of Black friends who reunite for a Juneteenth weekend getaway only to find themselves trapped in a remote cabin with a twisted killer. Forced to play by his rules, the friends soon realize this ain't no motherf****** game. Directed by Tim Story (Ride Along, Think Like a Man, Barbershop), this film skewers genre tropes and poses the sardonic question: if the entire cast of a horror movie is Black, who dies first?
